One of the key components to creating a culture anchored in inclusion, equity and diversity is having a foundation of strong Allies, across all levels of an organization. Our 5-part, live and interactive training program, From Ally to Action, provides the first step in motivating employees to own the role of a TRUE ally.
PROGRAM GOAL: We believe change starts with the individual and good intentions are often not enough: employees must shift into action. The purpose of this training is to provide individuals with the awareness, insights, confidence and tools needed to act daily in ways that bring TRUE Allyship into their organizations.
Employees will become thoughtful and effective Allies by learning how to:
Grow in awareness and take responsibility for thoughts, words, and actions
Explore privilege and identify ways to transfer it to those who lack it
Learn Allyship roles, blocks to being a better ally, and ways to more confidently step towards greater inclusion in the workplace
When you combine a tribe of equipped and committed allies with an organization’s larger diversity, equity and inclusion vision and initiatives, it has the ability to positively impact workplace culture.
THE 5-PART PROGRAM FEATURES:
Proprietary self-assessment tool, From Ally to Action Activation
5 weekly 1-hour, live group training calls via ZOOM
Weekly worksheet to supplement teaching topic
WEEKLY TRAINING SESSION STRUCTURE - Each training session is anchored to a 3-phase approach covering:
Educating (sharing new ideas and concepts)
Exploring (helping participants internalize new information)
Action (identify next actionable steps)
