Gina’s Bio: Gina L. Osborn is a screenwriter and develops content for television and film. She is also a dynamic public speaker sharing extensive knowledge obtained during her 28-year career in law enforcement.
Gina began her law enforcement career in 1986 by enlisting in the U.S. Army as a Counterintelligence Special Agent. She served six years during the Cold War investigating the highest-profile espionage cases in the European Theater.
In 1996, Gina became a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She had numerous assignments over the last 22 years that include investigating Asian Organized Crime on a task force in the Little Saigon District of Orange County, supervising counterterrorism investigations in Southeast Asia, and leading teams in the review and assessment of investigative programs in field offices and FBI Headquarters.
In 2018, Gina retired from the FBI as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Cyber and Computer Forensics Programs in Los Angeles. For 11 years, she led large-scale investigations relating to national security and criminal computer intrusions. She also provided foundational leadership in the creation of the Orange County Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory, a $7 million, a state-of-the-art facility devoted entirely to the examination of digital evidence in support of criminal investigations.
